Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. The father of her is Nigerian and Swiss as well as her mother is English. She was born and raised in a council estate south of London. At the age fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received the BA in acting. In her time at the school, she performed in several stage productions, including King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following that success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside in the role of Ollie. The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a star in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons, it was announced in May 2013 that she would quit the show following a guest appearance in the premiere episode in the season's third. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe was married to her long-time love, Iddo. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also had a role alongside her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty along with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her four athletic brothers all played hockey and baseball and basketball in winter and summer. Ashley couldn't walk, however she danced. In the end, as she grew older She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley became a dancer since that time. Ashley was a competitive dancer in all the major divisions up until her graduation from high school. She competed in jazz, tap, ballet and pointe, as well as the acrobatics. Ashley took home the best soloist award at every major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among the few.
