Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. DiFranco's songs are classified as folk or alternative rock. They also are influenced by hip-hop as well as jazz, and punk. Ani diFranco was the first artist to launch her own label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father is Italian heritage, while her mother comes from Montreal. 32 Flavors is a song written that was performed and written by Ani DiFranco. The track is part of her album from 1995 Not a Pretty Girl, which was her sixth studio release. On the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a variant of this track. In 2013 DiFranco apologized when it was announced that she would be hosting an event for three days on a former Louisiana plantation for slaves. The majority of us (including us) were not moved by her cancellation. DiFranco apologized a couple of days afterwards. The singer is well-known for her Little Folksinger songs, however she has worked with several music genres, including Pete Seeger to Chuck D. New Orleans is where she lives. Ani was born Kristen Ford. At 14, she began writing her own songs. She performed them at bars and coffee shops throughout her teenage years. DiFranco was a student at Buffalo State College after graduating aged 16 from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.
